North Northamptonshire Council has today announced that it has made a firm commitment to support a minimum of 10 Afghan families to resettle in the North Northamptonshire area.

The independent examiner for the Overstone Neighbourhood Development Plan, Mr Andrew Ashcroft, BA (Hons) MA, DMS, MRTPI, has assessed the Neighbourhood Plan against the basic conditions and has completed his report. The Council will now consider the examiner's recommendations including whether the Overstone Neighbourhood Development Plan should proceed to referendum.
